Tenjin Lines
Al wanted some pics of the backcountry lines in Tenjin, so here they are…

Catch the gondola to the top, then a chair to the peak and decide if you want to go left or right all the way back down to the gondola station (red dot). There’s a backcountry gate that gets you over into a bigger valley off to the left (Avy gear required, but it’s supposed to be epic). The top groomed area has a couple of OK lines, but it’s all quite short.

Awesome line on the right side of the main valley down through tree lined gullies.

View back up at the same line. When you get back to the valley floor there’s a nice speedy cat track back to the gondola station.

Then just catch the big 20-person gondola back to the top and do it all again. Each lap takes about 15 > 20 mins and on a good day you could do a new line every run. It’d be pretty hit and miss without fresh snow though.
